Wait a minute though, wasn't she one of the skaters with super short hair I said was really cute too though?

I've posted so many vids I can't even remember!

Katarina Witt - "Carmen" 1988 Calgary Olympics - Free Skating

Looks like this chick did some pretty weird performances in her time. Let's check this one out.

1:06 that was a pretty righteous moment, complete with a lens flare.

She's beautiful and a great skater, but I feel absolutely nothing on a deeper level.

Definitely a great performance though.

Awesome to see the red and blue kachinas put on ice.

Meryl Davis & Charlie White Full - Sochi 2014 Olympics

Wow, these two are undeniably epic... very complex performance.

2:09 helluva move right there, not a massive fan, but I did dig the sequence of putting her back down, pretty amazing.

2:30 I'd have loved to see that up close, not sure what kinda crack the camera people were smoking.

2:40 and of course I have to point out how righteous this guy's hair is.

4:29 lmao you know the other pairs skaters fucking hate these two!

Timothy Goebel - 2002 Olympics - FS

Wow this guy's hair is amazing, it looks MEGA curly.

This guy is apparently known for his quad jumps.

People only really like him cuz he's super good looking though.

Like yes he's amazing, but the good looks account for like 80% of it.

Aleksei Yagudin Алексей Ягудин (RUS) - 1999 World Figure Skating Championships - SP

Well this one looks... interesting!?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexei_Yagudin

Apparently he lost to Plushenko a lot... guarentee I'll like this guy better than Plushenko.

Wow holy crap, look, this is his wife: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatiana_Totmianina

She looks hot as fuuuuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was a pairs skater and this was her partner...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxim_Marinin

Quote:Accident: During the free skate at the 2004 Skate America, Marinin lost his balance while attempting an axel lasso lift and Totmianina slammed into the ice head first. Although she felt pain, she had no memory of the accident and was not afraid to return to the ice. She recovered from her injuries rapidly and was able to return to the ice within days. Although Totmianina did not blame him, the accident weighed heavily on Marinin and when the pair returned to training, he was unable to lift her due to panic. He began seeing a sports psychologist who helped him overcome it.

OMG that's so sad... poor guy.

They went on to win stuff though.

ANYWAY, back to Alexei's skate, how rude of me!?

Gotta admit that is a bitchin' outfit, definitely an eye catcher.

He's pretty sexy TBH.

It's a weird performance, but the jumps are glorious and his outfit makes them look cooler.

Definitely more interesting than Plushenko... no offense, just saying.

Hot as fuck for sure, amazing body.

He's definitely a very dramatic performer... it's very good.

2:15 great footwork, the guy is a badass for sure.

I don't understand the point of having a choreographer...

I hate the idea of choreography...

People should dance (and skate) what they feel.

Irina Rodnina's story is pretty interesting...

1:02.

"Two partners, three Olympic golds."

Alexei Ulanov was her first partner and apparently she was in love with him but then he found some other chick. So then after their last skate she moved on and found another partner, Alexander Zaitsev who she then married and won 2 more gold medals with.

They don't really stand out that much to me.

Irina Rodnina & Alexander Zaitsev - 1976 Olympics - LP

0:32 wow, nicely done. They are definitely way better together.

0:45 lol how excited he was about that, I love this commentator guy.

I agree to an extent but on the other hand I think in figure skating unless trying to capture the face, and far zoomed out camera is best.
