When "Bullshit" has been working just fine for 100's of years?

Money. Power. Propaganda. Mind control. Attention. Careers. Boredom. Distraction. Misinformation. Education. Entertainment. The need for narrative.

I mean, why bother to read it, right?

The creation of the content exists because millions of people do bother. They live in blood and darkness and need more blood and darkness to maintain.

Narrative is what the news is about, really. Throwing a picture frame down onto the ground and calling wherever it lands a 'composition'. Interesting to note that the word composition both refers to a work of art and an amount of money paid under a legal agreement. Bullshit journalism isn't about the composition, though; it's about the decomposition of the narrative by ensuing 'authors' for general consumption.

For example: someone could write an article with a bullshit headline, STATED as a question:
"WHY DOES BIDEN KEEP TALKING LIKE HE DOESN'T BELIEVE THE COVID VACCINES ARE WORKING?"

There will be a reference to something Biden said recently, without any further references to back up the statement "Keep Talking", which implies there are previous instances of this, and that it is a pattern. The reason why there won't be any references to previous instances of Biden talking about vaccines not working is that there aren't any. The story here is Biden fucked up and had a seeming moment of dyslexia. That's the fucking story. The headline of the story is utter bullshit. So that then gets trickled down to a bunch of hacks and dumb fucks who regurgitate the story ad nauseum and then people start talking about it, "apparently Biden is anti vaccine" "wait, what?" Etc.

This song was released several years before the advent of 24 hour cable news.
