I'm envisioning an electrified rod, not much thicker than a chopstick...

Something you can just wave over surfaces and the dust will cling to it, then you can take a rag and wipe it off and continue.

It should be a thin rod so that it can fit into things like the fronts of fans and other surfaces that are tedious to clean.

The thin rod shape would make it perfect for diverse dusting needs.

There has to be a way, come on guys, make it happen.

you're familiar with the concept of an electromagnet, where electricity is applied to create a magnetic field.

consider the concept of a magnet for static electricity, and then take that further to be an electrostaticmagnet. push the button, activate the charge, attract dust and dirt and what not. push the button again, and a button to discharge the static, and things fall off into a collector.

i came up with that in high school.
