Queen Elizabeth II died in the year of the USA's Pluto return, as many predicted she would.

She was Britain's longest reigning monarch, but Louis XIV still has her beat by 2 years as the longest reigning monarch in history.

But yeah I mean... I'm not trying to shit talk Queen Elizabeth II.

I'm not saying everything that went on in the world while she was in power was HER fault.

But she did let Britain hit the fucking skids while she was in charge, I mean, it's a shadow of what it once was.

She was old AF for like the past 30 years, it's not possible to be a good leader when you're ridiculously elderly.

She probably didn't even know what the heck was going on.

Is taking the throne anything more than an empty victory when you're as old as King Charles III??

He's 73.

That's pretty damn old.

Imagine waiting for your mom to die for your whole adult life so you can be the king.

I mean, I'm sure he didn't WANT IT all that bad for the WHOLE time, but you knowwwwwww it crossed his mind!!!!!

I mean listen, Elizardbeth was ninety fucking six...

It's not like her death is all that surprising.

But I still find the timing interesting.

The kids didn’t always wait for the reigning monarch to croak. Sometimes people would get tired of waiting, help the king die a little early, and install the heir.

Upon ascending to the throne, it was customary to kill all of your siblings, and anyone else who might have a claim to it.

Man honestly? The Queen ducked out at quite a tumultuous time for the UK... there's a massive crisis going on in Europe on A LOT of different levels that is gonna spread to the rest of the world. But it seems like... I dunno, quite a convenient time to die. It says a lot.

She was 96... beyond elderly. But maybe she just knew it was all coming down the pike and was like "Alright well this is as good a time as any, ciao."

She could have lived longer... my great grandma lived to be 104. The British monarchy has all the best life extension tech available on the fucking planet, you know they do. So yes, it's not surprise that a 96 year old died... but the timing.

She knew what’s coming, and didn’t want to live through it.
