Firefox starting to shit me to many updates so I turn off in registry.
Then randomly can not open another tab just stays loading.
Have to kill it then re open which shits my youtube.
Sent logs to mozilla wont answer. Went to mozillazine they dunno either.
I put my switch in reg to turn it off auto updates I update once a week cos it fucks my workflow.
Its getting annoying I got enough HD RAM Processor if I turn the auto updates back on it doesn't do it.
Its some timer in about:config about the auto updates no one knows what it is or they do and just lie about it.
Opera works fine while FF does this so its a FF problem.

I only get updates when I update the whole system. I ignore the software updater and do it manually. The software updater wants to reboot afterwards. Utter nonsense. A Linux system seldom needs to be rebooted.

It is a timer in about:config there is obviously somewhere you can change it, but changing things in there lately can totally fuck the whole thing.

You can get LTSC or LTSB they are meant to run machinery. Like IOT.
You can add things back as you want, like say xbox or microsoft store, no metadata from MicroDaft.
Its a better version security updates but no feature updates unless you want them. Up until 2030 if you want them.
You can download it from MS and buy a key or you can just use an activator.
I get mine from pirate bay from a guy named generation2 he doesn't much like MicroDaft.

I think people who want to turn the Raspberry Pi into a desktop computer or whatever are missing the point of Raspberry Pi. Just buy a cheap mini computer and don't bother with 3D printing cases and all that rubbish. You'll spend about the same amount for the same performance.
