I used to keep my long hair 'just in case' I wanted to do something pretty with it at some point.

Sure I'll do that again in the future, but I know I'll basically never do diddly shit with it.

I can't be bothered to get my hair cut...

Not even like once a year.

Way too often.

I can't maintain any kind of hairstyle...

I don't care if I have literally nothing else to do.

I don't have time for it.

And I notice when I do it, it puts me in a bad mood...

Gives me this superficial feeling which I strongly dislike.

As long as whatever it is doesn't take too long, I might be willing to do it.

I like a little makeup... nothing time consuming though.

I used to have long hair. Everything I did with it turned to shit. I cut it all off last year. Haven't had a haircut since then. Can't be fucked to care about what it does after I wash and comb it in the morning.
