I haven't seen it. I know the name Tyler Durden from Zero Hedge though.
I'll watch it with you, if we can watch girl-on-girl skin flicks afterwards.

Well that'll be a no then, but on some real shit, you absolutely should watch it.

You ain't gotta watch it on purpose just cuz I asked though, maybe it'll just come to you when it's time.

I find that when it comes to classic movies like this, if you haven't seen it yet, it's for a reason...
Eventually it comes to you when it's time.
Not saying that Fight Club is some huge transcendental shit or something, lmao, but...
I dunno, it's up there with the best of them.

That's usually the case.
I haven't avoided watching it in particular, I've just been turned off by Hollywood for the past few years.
Good music and entertainment does eventually find its way into my inbox though.

Indeed, any sane person would be turned off by hollywood.

Agh. Gurl, no.
I'm sorry but.
The only person allowed to wear a scanty Catwoman outfit is Halle fuckinggggggg Berry.
And we only give her a pass because she's Halle fuckiiiinnnngggg Berry.
Catsuits are supposed to be skin tight bodysuits.

The best Catwomen were as follows...
1. Julie Newmar
2. Eartha Kitt
3. Michelle Pfeiffer

What made Eartha Kitt such a great Catwoman and totally suitable (pun intended?) to follow Julie Newmar's lead?
Well let's look beyond the amazing figure and the legendary fit into that fucking bombass costume (the greatest Catwoman costume of all time, BTW)...
She had an amazing voice, unlike anyone else, and she delivered her lines with subtle little growls and other quirks. It was truly brilliant.
Legendary performer like no other...
If there had never been a Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt would be the greatest Catwoman of all time.
I also think it could be a generational thing... you prefer whoever you saw in whatever role first.
For me, the first Catwoman who ever caught my interest was Julie Newmar in Batman reruns on TVLand.
For a lot of people, it was probably Michelle in the '90s. Can't relate.

Plus, Eartha Kitt was her actual REAL name, which is just insane... I mean if you're given a name like that, you are basically guaranteed to be big.

You were just born to be important with a name like that.

Quote:It is widely believed that Kitt's career in the United States was ended following her comments about the Vietnam War, after which she was branded "a sadistic nymphomaniac" by the CIA.

If the CIA is that obsessed with you, you must be truly unforgettable.

Quote:Like many politically active public figures of her time, Kitt was under surveillance by the CIA, beginning in 1956. After The New York Times discovered the CIA file on Kitt in 1975, she granted the paper permission to print portions of the report, stating: "I have nothing to be afraid of and I have nothing to hide."

She does look like her and even kinda sounds like her too. It's not hard to see.
2:40 ew, look at everyone in those hideous masks... legitimately horrifying, lmao.
Definitely not a Golden Age, folks. Fascinating shit.
11:12 well that almost made me cry like a bitch... so true.

I mean, like all other famous peeps, especially back then, she was obviously *IN* the CIA.
So why would they attack their own?? Did she legitimately step out of line, or was it just a narrative and everybody was playing along??
For the CIA to come out and call her something as scandalous as a "sadistic nymphomaniac" they MUST have had a plan with that.

I mean, ALL of hollywood are CIA assets.
It was true back then and it's especially true today.
