I've listened to Alan Watts a fair bit, but I've never listened to McKenna that much.

I don't like how he keeps bringing the gender shit up.

I even searched on Bing.

I find it very hard to believe that there are no discussions about his sexuality out there.

Comes off to me as a master nerd (hot) who took A LOT of REALLY epic and fabulous hallucinogens.

Seems to me that he's right about everything he's said so far besides the questionable aforementioned gender stuff.

He obviously believed that gayness needed to be accepted in society, yet from what I can tell, he was married and had 2 kids.

Maybe he just never had the chance to come out of the closet and wear dresses like he might have wanted to.

No idea. I really don't know where the fuck he's coming from with that line of talk and it makes me suspicious of him.

Truth be told, I don't even really like Alan Watts all that much either.

I mean yeah, he said a lot of great shit...

But he still just kind of rubs me the wrong way a little bit.

So does McKenna, but in a different kinda way than Watts.

To me, it really seems like there is.

So that means that, probably even more so than Watts, McKenna was really, REALLY right about some shit.
