This first fence is going to be around my immediate yard area, not the property lines. It will give me a yard, keep the cows out, and keep chickens inside the fenced area hopefully by this summer with goats eventually.

Oh, I've heard of short wave radio. That's like local radio stations, and public radio stations right?

I'm sure you know all about the conspiracy theories...
It's always been a really interesting topic to me, but I forget about it most of the time cuz I don't do the radio thingy.

Lots of international stations and amateur (ham) operators.

They're used by intelligence agencies to call out coded messages to agents in the field.

I'm a couple of miles from I-40. The truckers are on Citizens' Band (CB) though.
My radio doesn't do CB. It's designed for the international and traveler markets, and the CB band allocation is strictly US FCC. I had a nice CB receiver when I was a teenager. CB gained mainstream popularity because of trucker movies and Smokey and the Bandit. A lot of people had them in their cars.

You need to put the yardbirds in a separate fence from your main yard so you won't have poop all over the place where you're trying to chill.

What's your favorite method of dispatching the designated supper yardbird to her heavenly abode?
1. The good ol' hatchet and tree stump procedure, or
2. Grasp the hen firmly by the neck and spin her right 'round, baby, right 'round, like a record, baby...

Yeah, I have a hatchet. Have you ever had any birds for livestock. Almost all of my neighbors have chickens too. I think I will have a chicken farm out here when I'm done.

Well I've never killed a chicken, but I'd go with the hatchet.
