Unstoppable Morgan: The Bitchin' Bronco
Social media is all about making you feel your lifestyle is inferior to someone else's. Most people secretly wish they could get away and do whatever they want. The van lifers and off gridders are feeding on that.

That is really true. I was always an alternative street kid, and I would actually do a lot of the cool things in real life that people watch on social media. Skateboarding, off-grid, living on a sailboat, fighting dudes, you name it. So when I got online later on finally, I was just like yeah this is what I do IRL that people watch on her. I noticed that the people that watch this stuff, were the people that actually never had done it.

Well if you really did live in your vehicle full time and you had a YouTube channel about it... you'd be making way more videos about your life. There would be a lot of vlogs and whatnot. So it makes sense that Ahle's videos were faked.

The looking at the notes part was kinda wild.

I didn't see any hard proof she was faking though. Where are the links to the modeling agency she works for? Seems like that guy just likes to talk shit.

She takes trips and stays in the vehicle (or a tent) when she does. She doesn't post for long periods of time because there's been no trip.

Pretty sure Ahle never had a $50k van.

Not so much the van lifers and off gridders themselves. They're just paid actors. It's the production companies feeding off of people's feelings of inadequacy, same as it's always been.

Yeah, I ain't mad at any specific personality themselves... I mean, hey, it's whatever. Fake/sponsored channels on YouTube have been a known thing since 2006 with Lonelygirl15. Not exactly news.

One of the first threads on this site was "YouTube has plants" but it looks like it got deleted, prolly cuz it was hit by spambots...

Facepalm

Hmmm, maybe I'm misremembering. Maybe that was the thread's title on another site.

This seems to be the one I'm thinking of which was posted here...

Thread #2. Lol, so yeah.

Yeah, you're right. Hobo Ahle did not have the sprinter van. Minimal Millenials and WanderxBus and that one Canadian couple did though. And many people suspected they were paid actors.

The Canadian chick committed suicide or something too. Guilty conscience?

Hmm, I dunno... I don't really watch all that many van life channels. Or at least it's starting to become clear to me that I apparently don't.

As far as committing suicide over a guilty conscious because you're a YouTube faker, I think that's a touch far. It's really not that deep.

Worst part about it would be getting recognized in real life and people asking you why you're not living in a van right now or whatever fake story was supposedly your life. You could just make up a standardized answer... so it would be a minor nuisance really.

There are a lot of gossipy YouTubers who like to talk about other YouTubers. I don't think they're necessarily paid by the people they talk about. There was this one guy who was always eager to spread the latest news about Mars Argo and Titanic Sinclair.

It was Max and Lee. Lee committed suicide at age 28, after Dave 2D started roasting them, and there was a lot of backlash against there fake vanlife channel. She even talked about it.

Not sure what videos gave me this suspicion back in the day but...

The 2023 version of this is obviously the weird computerized voice over video I posted that was discussing Nikki.

I'm sure they pay real actual people to make gossip vids about them too.

A lot of people just like to gossip and they do it for free though.

There are all kinds.

But the idea that gossip videos are sometimes paid advertisement for the subject is one of the more believable theories that get flung around.

Especially when it's about new up and coming sponsored channels whose growth is totally inorganic and they need to stoke the flames and get attention to make themselves look big enough to talk about even when their subs and view counts are faked.

Here ya go.

It was widely acknowledge on YouTube and Reddit that Dave 2D roasting her, caused her to commit suicide.

Oh, I'm sure some of them are paid.

Even the ones who do it for free are trying to cash in on someone else's fame.

The worst ones are those who copy Reddit threads verbatim for content.

Oh yeah, I actually did hear about that one.

Well, that's pretty stupid.

Killing yourself over some bullshit on the internet is an indicator that you're lost in the sauce, totally out of touch with reality.

It's a sad story, but people need to wake the fuck up...

Sometimes you'd benefit from talking to a mega elderly person who can tell you what it was like to really have it hard in life.

Walking five miles in the snow barefoot to get to school or whatever.

Speaking strictly for myself personally...

If I made YT vids talking about YTers, I'd be doing it because I loved talking that shit, not because I wanted to cash in on their popularity.

So I think it's best to assume there are all kinds of people doing all kinds of shit for all kinds of different motivations.

And it ain't always gonna make sense.

I don't like that either...

Mainly because sometimes the things posted on Reddit are 100% made up in order to evoke emotional responses out of people and drum up attention from being sensationalist.

So if people make videos about those topics, they're quite literally spreading lies.

That's just nuts to me.
