The modern male/female Karen could be an NPC. I think you nailed it though MO, sheeples = NPC's. I would even go as far as to call them Zombies. Remember the Zombie apocalypse? Well I think it happened long ago just they don't eat brainz so no one noticed.

I always think of the NPC characters from James Bond Golden Eye on Nintendo 64 when I hear the term. It makes it pretty funny to think about.

I actually think the whole "NPC" thing has gotten out of hand.
I don't really believe in NPCs... I think all beings have a fractal of the God soul... Some of them just totally fucking suck and are garbage. The garbage, mindless "NPC" people are serving their dumbass purpose in existence just like everyone and everything else.

Everyone has a soul... some souls are just sheer taint.
So I am suspicious of the "NPC" thing, most recently popularized by the 2021 Matrix franchise movie which called them bots. I don't think it's great to propagate the concept that some people don't have souls or whatever. I'll always prefer the term "sheeple" because it doesn't inherently imply soullessness... It just implies total idiocy, which is fair.

I think for the most part, the purpose of posting this was to make the link between "sheeple" and "NPCs" clear...
Cuz I really hope the "NPC" craze dies down. It'll never be replaced with "sheeple" though, cuz so many of the narcs throwing around the "NPC" catch-all term these days ARE sheeple. Bad state of affairs IMO.
