This was like 5 years ago and his last video was in 2021...
Not a throwaway channel per se, but a hiker name and what seems to have been a sorta one-off mission...
He doesn't really say all that much, but the videos are still totally fascinating.
It's just wild to see some of the places that he films and I recognize them from having been there before.
Makes you feel like the world is pretty small, but still just a wondrous place.
Channels like this are rare, at least it seems like it...
Maybe not though. He's got less than 400 subs and doesn't have that many videos all and all...
Crazy how some of the best content never gets enough attention.
Too bad these "traveler" types don't stay consistent and always fall off the radar.
I don't even know how I stumbled across this channel tonight, but I had to share.

5:30 "The Search For Trick Daddy"... lmao.
Wow.
What an absolutely bizarre world.
It's the best selling show.

How the hell does somebody just decide to walk across the US?
From what I can tell, this kind of stuff is typically brought on by the need to integrate trauma and come to some kind of understanding.
Seems to come from a desire to have control in one's life.
Even with the story of Peace Pilgrim, even though she probably would have said it was about resigning oneself to the ebb and flow of life, I think it was still about having autonomy and control.
I used to doubt that her story was even true, but when I see stuff like this...
I dunno, seems more possible.
Still suspicious, but could be true.

It's kind of cool that he doesn't say a lot, because the things he does film are very...
Well, natural.
It's random animals and bugs and stuff.
Just clips of Main Street America, and it all seems so...
Peaceful.
Like, you'd definitely wanna keep it movin' through most of the places he shows...
But there's still something so calm about it.
America is a truly amazing place.
Wonder what it'd be like for somebody in a city in some other part of the world to see this footage...
Somebody who's only ever known the BIG city somewhere in Asia or something like that.
The best stuff on YouTube is definitely not getting served out to the masses.
I mean, I found the channel, but it was incredibly random, really no rhyme or reason.

IMO, channels featuring people walking across the USA should have special privileges...
There should be special standing for channels like this because they're truly fucking remarkable.
It's different than just hanging out in one town/city and filming yourself being homeless or something.
Not that there isn't validity to sharing that too, but I'm just saying...
These channels where people show their journey walking with a goal/destination in mind are a whole different breed.

I wonder how many other channels there are like this.
I bet if I searched "walking across America" or something, there would be more.
But would they be REAL, legit as fuck channels like this, or just preps trying to get attention?

Yeah, none of it looks worth clicking to me.
Mostly cleaned up looking stuff that reeks of "doing it for the likes" rather than anything genuine.
You'd probably have to dig deep into the results to find anything legit, and that all kinda depends on whether the videos are titled/tagged properly by the uploader.
You can't go out looking for shit like this, it's gotta find you.
That's the real magic.

Just cool nature clips, and views of places you'd remember seeing if you ever drove through there...
Anchors in spacetime.
I think he did it right by filming this way, nice legitimate and honest attempt to just capture some memories.
No clickbaity shit or loud attention grabbing BS.
YouTube is pretty damn soulless man, a channel like this should have gotten mad views.
Instead we get people like MrBeast screaming at us in 8K, curing blindness and giving away Teslas or whatever.
Like yeah, I guess that's cool but I would never watch it.

Lol, they were clearly just trying to get him to come home.
Kinda brilliant, totally understandable.
I bet they tried hard to convince him to stay there once he went back though, but it didn't work.
3:30 you can hear them all grimacing inside when he says this.
His next vid was a month later...
It's kinda sad how people call the police though, just makes you think...
Nobody is used to this sort of natural tendency to go out and explore anymore.
That's all humanity really did, for most of history.
Sure, maybe they didn't walk across the continent, but they did move around.

The roadkill shots in these videos man, gnarly...
These clips just say so much by saying nothing.

Fuck staying with some random people though... I dunno, that's just a touch too far.
Like yeah, walk across the US all you want, but staying with people, think I'll pass.
Seems like Alabama was one of the more paranoid states along his journey.
Shit, you could finish this channel in one night.
I appreciate that.

4:36 see, this is the exact feeling I was talking about earlier...
This just confirms it.
It's not that the world seems "small", it's more trippy than that...
Just kinda makes it seem like a simulation or something.

Seems like he would have just kept right on going, but he ran out of land.
I guess that's why the channel's last video is a drive across Puerto Rico.
He legitimately walked across the USA.
That is fucking wild man.
And it didn't even take a year to watch the whole journey.
There's something to be said for keeping things short and sweet.
Even felt like I learned something.
Really cool find, I enjoyed it.

8:06 yup, he definitely would have kept on going.
So I mean, think about it...
The guy walked across the US, and just like some Forrest Gump shit, what now??
Go back home? What IS home after an experience like that?
Or maybe like The Truman Show...
Go beyond the wall and walk into the next layer of reality?
But what else is there? More land to walk on another continent where you'll eventually reach the end there too??
Same stuff, just different plants, different kinda animals?
Really makes you think about life.
It's all the same.
Kinda like that episode of the Twilight Zone...
People are alike all over.

This is the last video, didn't watch it but in the comments he says he doesn't really travel much anymore and the PR thing was a random trip, which makes sense cuz it was years apart from the original walk.
Very interesting.
So really that video in Miami was the end.
After WALKING ACROSS THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES, lol, I mean would you really need to travel much again?
Who does that??
No one.
I mean, sure, other people have, some of them have been documented on this site.
But it's extremely rare, and it's a totally fascinating thing to me.
This guy spent almost a year walking across the US, reached his destination and that was it.
He was like okay, well, I walked the whole way and there's nowhere else to go.
Coast to coast.
Done it.
That's it.
Wow man...
Round of applause for that guy.
Remarkable.
Just wild man.
Didn't expect to find this tonight, and I gotta tell ya, watching some bullshit normie show on Netflix or whatever...
Absolute pure and total garbage compared to something like this.
