The beautiful part about it IMO is that he DOES help people... He helps a lot more than just a couple of people in his life who ask for things. He's helping thousands of people with his videos. A lot of people think he's a shitlord and don't like his attitude, but those people are joyless sheeple fucks.

He makes money from these videos, he's a high value hustler. But he could have chosen to do anything... he didn't have to make helpful videos for the public. I think he's very generous.

I appreciate insight into people from all walks of life, this is the value in making videos, writings, etc. I don't really want people in my life, but I do want to know more about as many people as possible. As long as they're at a distance and I don't have to deal with them, I feel love for them.

She's been at this shit since like the mid 1990s. And she's just now getting more popular?? The eff?? But hey I guess better late than never. Destiny is an interesting thing. I will say that I think most of her interviews aren't really great because the interviewer always focuses on some mental health shit instead of just trying to talk to her. Her standup is great in my honest opinion, she's brilliant.

Her 2020 special was called "Weakness is the Brand" and it was totally great except for some obnoxious political crap. All these people have huge flaws, but... still really enjoyable. But yeah, I get that the whole "mental health" thing is her "brand" but I wish interviews with her were a little more normal, I feel like there's a lot of faking nervousness and stuff like that. I've tried to watch several of them and some were good but I just couldn't get past that aspect of things.

I've been a huge fan since 2012.
On the topic of one-eye-covered photos... I wonder if that was her idea? I've read that in nearly every photoshoot it's always the photographer that suggests poses and even sometimes thematic elements. Chelsea is a major all around artist [not just music] and strikingly intelligent so I'm curious how much of her photoshoots are outside influenced/controlled? |
