There's something I really love about this.

Unless the kid that would've drowned grows up to be a serial killer :(

I'm actually trying to choose not to hit Post Reply on this... but it's not working I can't
Thank God.
My mental wheels are spinning...
I feel bliss.
It all begs the question...
If it's all part of a plan by a higher being (an actual creature) then can the evil things humanity does to one another be justified for the betterment of the whole being?
How do evil actions toward one another end up in a good result for the larger being?
Maybe it's not about a "good" result. Maybe we can judge the quality and intent of this huge creature by our own nature.
If we're micro expressions of this bigger being, then it means the being is partly evil.
The only thing we can say for sure is that it intends to grow and expand.
Earth is growing and expanding over the eons because everything dies and decays and adds another layer. It gets hit with space rocks and matter from the outside is heaped onto the matter that was already here.
It's growing into something. A bigger version of what it already is, just with more mass and more detailing.
We're a representation of this being. It's not all love and light.
People want to look at the Earth like it's some kind of victim, like we're doing it wrong and hurting it...
But if it's in control of all of this, then it's doing this to itself. Even if it's programmed to play its own role on a universal level on autopilot...
It's a being that is comprised of good and evil. If it wasn't made up of negative things in part, there wouldn't be evil in the world.
It's not a blameless thing. It's not a victim. It's bigger than us, a more powerful creature than any of us. We're just a reflection of "who" it is.
Our traits and qualities, good and bad, are a direct reflection of the Earth itself as a creature.
