Is it kinda sick that I snicker a little bit whenever I lose YouTube subscribers?

YouTube... the den of sin. The bastion of banality.

I honestly smile or snicker when I see my subscriber count drop... 100% of the time, every time.

It's a strange reaction. I've noticed myself doing it and I've tried to figure out why.

It's about knowing I posted something that either offended or annoyed people.

I think that is funny, and I think it's funny that they unsubscribed.

I believe the answer to your question may be deeper than you suggest.

The question, "Why react with a snicker?"

Conclusion, "I think it is funny."

These social media creations you have shared can be more than just a hobby.
And your active interaction brings it all even deeper into your existence.
They can become an extension of yourself.
They can fulfill real psychological and emotional needs.
But while having a strong following can be like having a strong peer group.
Losing a follower can be similarly like losing a peer.
In both cases their respect, friendship, admiration or affection,
whatever emotional need they represent becomes an emotional loss.

One involuntary reaction commonly used to mask emotion is to laugh it off so to speak.
From what I have seen of you Trixie,
You never try to offend or annoy.
You get "Funky" lol but it is all in fun. Expressing yourself freely.

I am sorry not everyone can see that or are so self involved themselves as to hold judgement over your self expression.

Now just remember that this is just one bias admirer's thoughts that there is a lot more heart in you than you would care to have get out. :P"xo
Truth is the impression of reality words create.
