I think Zane has established a pattern of getting with a woman who can take care of him and who is willing to entertain his ideas at least up to a certain point... and when things go south with one woman, he'll find another one.
Zane will essentially be a male gold digger.
But he's not looking for exorbitant riches like chicks supposedly do... he just needs someone who has enough and is willing.
Zane is good looking and fun, there's nothing wrong with him choosing to survive by using this method. Women do it all the time, so why can't Zane?
It'd be a fair trade off at least for a while for whatever lady out there who wants a piece and can verify he doesn't have any deadly communicable diseases...
I just hope the "history repeats itself" trend of getting with an incredibly boring, totally lackluster female will not be a theme.
