Let's say there are 7 billion people on earth, and all of them are exposed. That's a possibility, since everyone infected will spread the disease before they show symptoms. Even if they don't get sick, they'll be carriers.
That's 210,000,000 dead. More than the Spanish flu or the bubonic plague. More than the population of some large countries.
