His mom is likely a narcissist. He doesn't talk about her much anymore, but he has said she never loved him. He said she really made no attempts to hide this fact. He has also said she has tried to ruin his life in multiple ways. People who come from dysfunctional homes usually don't like to talk about it much. The situation with the French girl is certainly not his only issue. He was a slow motion train wreck before he ever met her, and that is well documented through his vids.
