I don't think Ray gives a flying fuck about anything at this point. He didn't give much of a fuck before. But at least he held down a job and was able to live. He's already attempted suicide, although it was a pretty lousy attempt. Most people aren't going to be able to voluntarily starve themselves to death. He started this downward spiral right before all this pandemic crap started. Now he can't even find a job.
