Yeah I think that's basically the crux of it, you could summarize it by saying that.

This is what I think:

Dreams are 'training grounds' and 'scenario-scapes' where we learn important lessons so we will not have to learn them in our waking lives. Think about some of the things you experience in dreams... horrifying, deadly, dangerous. The type of stuff that if it happened in real life, you'd have some majorly heinous shit to deal with, right? Well dreams are there so you can learn these things without real life consequences.

If you meddle in dreamtime out of selfishness and ego, you potentially miss your chance to learn important lessons and have experiences without any consequences. If you interfere in that dreamtime, you will potentially have to endure the equivalent of those experiences in your waking life.
