The principle of balance applies to the body in the most literal form...
There is a schema of the body, a blueprint...
When it becomes out of balance, that balance is restored, but not necessarily in the right places.
This is what leads to all kinds of dis-ease.
Awareness and a deeper understanding of the working of the body, how specific areas correlate to other areas, the concept of the 'blueprint' of the body which is beyond perception with our 'traditional' senses...
This is why it's so important to have that awareness/knowledge.
