Logic pro is pretty cool, industry standard and all but there's a lot of DAWs that can go head to head with Logic pro imo. 

True about not fixing something if it's not broken. If logicpro is your go to, why learn something else when you've already got a great
DAW?

Macs can also run MS progs if yours isn't too old and has the intel processor. Not sure if I'm saying it correctly but you know what I mean. 
When apple decided to let people run windows on macs.
