I always thought making such a big deal of CM was also the media's way
of glorifying serial killers/murderers in a dry-humping sort of way. Not just
outright because "he didn't actually commit any of the murders" but was most
certainly the face of it. Since then though, serial killers HAVE been glorified and
made into cultural icons. How fucked is your society when people who MURDER
other people [for whatever reasons outside of self-defense] are popularized to the
point of having baseball cards made of them?
Kinda funny but mostly sick and tragic.
