Zane has well documented how coming to Texas worked out.

That's how going to Texas worked out for Zane...
He was homeless from the time he got there, for reasons out of the control of people who WANTED HIM THERE.
He was there for a specific reason, and he has fulfilled his side of the deal.

The effects of wet heat are vastly different than the effects of dry heat.
If you were able to replace lost fluids, and THEN SOME... MAYBE it'd be sustainable. MAYBE you'd be fine.
What do I personally think? Well, I think wet heat makes you old. Yup, there, I said it.

I live in a place where the heat is wet... but I am never out in it. If I was gonna live in the wilderness, you can bet I wouldn't fuckin' be doing it here... maybe in a cave or something. That'd be reasonable.
If you're gonna live outside though? In the USA? You better be in the west.
Texas ain't really the west. It's GETTING THERE. But it ain't technically the west. Once you get into NM, you can call it the west.
