This is the exact reason that yesterday, after commentating on a couple of other YouTubers, I concluded that these mindless followers are dangerous.
As a whole, I think having a YouTube following can be dangerous.
They will cheer you on as you're running off a cliff, and viciously attack anyone who dare speak out and suggest that the YouTuber SHOULDN'T run off the cliff...
And I'm not saying they do it out of bad intentions or something...
They're just mindless "supporters" who don't know these YouTubers in real life, and therefore, they don't have any concept of consequences and will never have to deal with the real aftermath of the decisions they support these YouTubers into making.
