The way I see it is like this:
A partnership has to be founded on mutual respect. Both men & women have their strengths
and weaknesses. By coming together in a "perfect" [balanced] union, they combine their forces
to build one another up through their strengths and learn to grow through and above their weaknesses.
It has to be 50/50, at least in the Respect department. Men becoming better Men within themselves
AND with the help of a good Woman. And vice versa. It's a Team. Sure, there are instances where the
man will have to step forward and take charge BUT the smarter moves are always made by being
informed by BOTH Partners. Men have the Physical advantage. Women, the Emotional/Spiritual.
Rubber meets the road: It's two people in a rowboat. If either one thinks it's ALL about THEM
then they'll spend the entire time rowing in circles, getting nowhere.
Sixteen years of marriage and I've lived to tell the tale. lol
