It looks like Uncle Rocco has been dealing with some matters of the heart. Awwwwwww... lol
*sounds of car horn blasting*
Carlo opens his front door to see one Hell of a sight in his driveway. He walks out to confront it.
Carlo: "Jeeezus, what's wit dis??"
Rocco: "Ya like it? Ain't she a beaut?"
Carlo: "Yeeeah, she's a work of art alright!"
Rocco: "You tellin' me! '69 Corvette Stingray baby!!"
Carlo: "This was my dream car back in high school!"
Rocco: "Well stop dreamin' and hop in! We're takin' this hot bitch for a ride!!"
Carlo: "Don't hafta ask me twice!!"
Carlo jumps in the majestic sports car and Rocco peels out of the driveway. They can both be heard
hootin' and hollerin' as they burn down the street.
Carlo has a few curiosities and tries asking questions over the loud roar of the pistons.
Carlo: "So what's she got under the hood?"
Rocco: "An engine! And all dat udda good shit!"
Carlo: "Dis had to set you back what, fifty grand??"
Rocco: "Money's no object when it comes to happiness!!"
Carlo: "What's the occasion??"
Rocco: *thinks for a moment* "Sometimes, people just deserve the good things..."
Carlo: "Can't argue wit dat!"
They continue their joy-ride all over town. Doing a drive-thru at Dairy Queen for some soft-serves.
Rocco can see his friend grinning ear to ear, he's in seventh Heaven! They finish up their Sunday
afternoon back in Carlo's driveway.
Carlo: "Hell of a beast ya got here Rock!"
Rocco: "Beauty AND Power! What more could a man ask for?"
Carlo: "Anytime you need a passenger, I'm in!!"
Rocco: *quiet moment before responding*
Carlo: "*looks over at him*
Rocco: "Eeeeh, I'm not gonna be able to do dat."
Carlo: "Oh?"
Rocco: "Yeah..."
Carlo: "OK. Well, this was nice. Thanks for having me along."
Rocco: "I'm not gonna be able to do dat... because she's Yours!"
Carlo: *looks back at him, eyes wide*
Rocco: "Down to the dirt on the tires!"
Carlo: "You can't be serious! Are you kiddin me?"
Rocco: "Check the glove box."
Carlo: *opens it up, pulls out the pink slip*
Rocco: "All's you gotta do is put ya John Henry on dat and it's official."
Carlo: *looking down at the paper* "I don't understand. Why you doin' dis?"
Rocco was feeling a little choked up about now. He hated this part.
Rocco: "Cuz sometimes, people do deserve the good things."
Carlo: *looks over at his almost tearful friend*
Rocco: "Good people, like You Carlo."
Carlo: *wells up*
Rocco: "I know this will never undo what I did, ya knee and all, but - "
Carlo: "You don't hafta do dis, it's not necessary. You already apologized."
Rocco: "But I like to put my money where my mouth is, and I need to show actions over words."
Carlo: *looks down as a tear hits that pink slip*
Rocco: "I know there are changes I need to undergo and things I will have to address in regards
to my thinking and behavior, but going forward I want to make sure I don't commit the same sins
and hurt the people that I love."
This is a huge moment for Rocco. He seems to have become self-aware. Good on you, big guy!
Rocco: "So like I said, I know dis won't - "
Carlo: "Thanks Rock. This is the nicest thing you ever done fuh me."
Rocco: "I appreciate your friendship Carlo. You're a good guy."
Rocco hops out of the dreamy sports car, runs around and leans against the passenger door.
Rocco: "So, you wanna get behind the wheel??"
Carlo: "I was thinkin' we'd let her cool down a while."
Rocco: "Oh, OK. Sounds good!"
Carlo: "And maybe we could go inside and put some heat on my new foosball table?"
Rocco: "Ooooh, is that a challenge??"
Carlo: "If ya man enough!!"
Rocco: "Prepare to EAT IT my friend!!"
They both head inside to battle it out for the whole field of glory!
