I also didn't like the whole "family" aspect of Bewitched... they had a kid on the show and I just never gave two shits about that aspect of the plot. It was a drag when the kid came along just like it is in real life. At least Jeannie didn't have kids on the show and we never had to deal with that type of plot... it would have been a lot less fun. It would have made things more serious, which is the antithesis of Jeannie.
