You're definitely gonna want something in leather if you don't want it to look cheap and cheesy.

Why not just wear a belt you already own and buy containers with belt loops that fit whatever you want to put in them?

I've figured out how to make one.

As far as pre-made stuff, I sort of agree, but whatever it is, it has to be black.

Since I am a custom modifier, there's also a point I'd like to make about leather...

I have to be able to sew through the material the bags are made of, AND the strap.

So I look at nylon straps only, with quick release black plastic closures...

In any case, what I came up with is a tactical belt (typically the cheapest kinds) as a base, and then append a set of zipper bags to it...

One could have a lot of fun with something like this, the possibilities truly are endless.

I would probably be making and selling them if I had the mats!
