I put the apostrophe in "Bird's" so that it's not plural-- as in "Big Bird is flying across the sky". I just find the image of Sesame Street's Big Bird casting shadows over the world as he flies away from the earth forever to be kind of heady and cool. Also, Neil Young is the ultimate "Muppet in human form".
