Though I'm a huge Yoda fan, I haven't seen all the Star Wars movies and especially not the new ones. I was under the impression Baby Yoda was actually IN one of the new Star Wars movies.
But then I found out it's not even him, and it's on a Disney show, not a movie!
I was a mix of disappointed and relieved.
Dude. I know a couple ladies who are quite literally obsessed with baby yoda. To the point of absurdity. May they never see that I said that. LOL. And yes, "Baby Yoda" is just a nickname. His real name is... well, I don't want to spoil it for you, but eventually his surrogate daddy (super badass bounty hunter with a hardcore sensitive side for baby yoda) learns that the little one has a name. :)
I'm not even vaguely a star wars person. I liked the first two films from the 70's, without the digital gussying up that came later. Just the raw original two films, thank you. The third film was like some kind of muppet orgy, and the rest just forget about it, no thanks.
But The Mandalorian? I mean... they just fucking nailed that original spirit HARD. And if the season 2 finale doesn't blow your mind and make you cry at the same time, then I don't even know.
