Stuff seems to be ramping up...
Gonna have to give 'em time to conceive of and develop the personal space travel vehicles (which can be used for mining etc.)...

Okay so here it is...
Crewed missions in space for mining etc. is NOT as efficient as INDIVIDUAL manned missions.
Robots WILL NOT WORK. Drones WILL NOT WORK. Only MANNED MISSIONS will be efficient and actually WORK.
Furthermore, the individual manned space travel vehicle needs to have a system which can allow the man on board to work robot hands that can pick things up on the surface and stow them in the payload.
It can only be assumed that it will not be possible to step foot on most celestial bodies, and therefore all things must be remotely done, from within the ship, and at the hands of the man on board. There will however be the need for a SUIT onboard which can be used as a vehicle in and of itself for emergency purposes only. There is also recommended to be a second "space walk" suit onboard which could be used during docking in earth orbit etc.
