I have eleventy million pairs of glasses and can only wear a few of them for any considerable amount of time.
I could go into vast detail, but suffice it to say, they always either hurt behind the ears, or the view out of 'em is just plain fuckin' wonky.
Currently I wear a pair of 7 year old glasses/prescription and they're all I can tolerate. I've gotten new prescriptions over the years, but they're all 'off' and look too sharp and are too taxing on the eyes... I just won't put up with it.
I can see great out of these 7 year old prescriptions, and I have absolutely no problem reading all the things I need to read. My theory?? My eyes got BETTER instead of worse over the years.
I have been going around without my glasses on lately when I can and it's been pretty enjoyable too. Can't see too well, but fuck it, as long as your surroundings are familiar it's no big problem.
