There was a time prior to that though in the PACNW that I realized sun visors don't work in late afternoon sun ROFL!!!
I don't think I even had any sunglasses for relief that time, I had to just power through it. That's probably when I learned that it was important to have them... but man, there was no powering through Monument Valley late afternoon driving without sunglasses, it was like being on another planet.
