The fact that they're saying "Chapel Hill" is very telling, because it absolutely came from DUKE Univ in Durham, which has one of THE premier labs in the world, and, back in the 80's, was widely connected with the AIDS virus, which isn't entirely dissimilar to Covid. These are FACTS.
My take is that there's enough leaking going on that the people involved know they can't keep the lid on "NC" any longer, so they're just painting it with a bit of disinformation to keep the trail colder than it otherwise might be, and also not to malign the name of DUKE, one of the premier Ivy League schools in the country.
You see, Duke must be the HERO of this story, not the VILLIAN.
