Beauteous Maximus is indeed still alive...
I believe she is living out her last years in the ultimate height of heaven, which she totally deserves.
There's a super grizzled hardcore elderly farmer down the road who threatened to shoot her a few years back if she fucked with his chickens or something like that...
Well it turns out, now he loves the cat, feeds her, and she lives on his farm now.
When we first met her, she was coming from down his direction anyway...
So she's returning to where she came from...
She's had a very high quality, long life for an outside cat, and things are better than ever for her.
