I used to think I was barking up the wrong tree and it's not an asteroid, but another Earth expansion instead...

But I also think it's possible that these huge asteroid strikes could cause the planet to sorta crack like an egg and that's the catalyst for the expansions in the first place.
I'm sorta undecided on what I really think about that.
Could also just be the sun which causes the earth to expand... would make sense considering it's the reason everything else grows, sooo yeah.
