I was 12 when I had my first 'awakening' and realization of my duality...
The first time I realized I had a 'shadow' side, and I interpreted it as 'evil' right off the bat, it was scary.
Of course over the years, I came to understand what it really was and today obviously I am totally aware of how it all works.
But that is absolutely when this all began.
It reminds me of Marduk's story about how "Marduk came into me when I was 12"...
