You are one hardcore thinking man.
I mean the stuff that you just type out (seemingly) on a whim...
*shakes head*
I dunno, I'm just honored to have you here.
thank you M.O.
i am honoured to be here.
the truth is, i was inspired by a deceased friend, about 30 years ago.
we were both 7, and she was killed by a car crossing the street.
she ended up rematerializing a couple years later.
to my uncle and auntie.
my uncle is a park warden, very secular and an atheist
my auntie is a nurse, agnostic
what had happened was that a couple years after the accident, the two of them were visiting us from another province.
they stayed at my Baba's
at the time i was really sick, bad earaches and headaches.
something i would get once a year,
my mom, wasnt hard core religious, but she did pray
this time she prayed to my deceased friend,
to her amazement i started getting better after two days,
typically i would be out for a week.
my uncle being in town, called to see how I was.
My mother said a lot better, and that she prayed to my friend.
My uncle being an atheist, said "Cmon, ______, you really dont believe in that, do you?
life went on.
however what we didnt know till later, was that my uncle had a dream that night,
when a young girl appeared at the foot of his bed and started rebuking my uncle for not believing
midway through this dream, my auntie wakes up and asks whats going on?
the young girl said everything is ok, the wall turned white and she disappeared.
years later, my uncle and auntie were watching a show about dreams.
He mentioned the dream he had about this girl dressed in white appearing at the foot of his bed while he was staying at Baba's..
my aunties face turned completely white, and told my uncle that it wasnt a dream,
and that she had saw the girl too, and thought she was dreaming....
to this day My uncle still remembers many details of that night, and so does my auntie..
both of them cannot explain what happened, but both know that it did.
my uncle is still an atheist, which blows my mind.
when I ask why would you still be an atheist after seeing a "ghost"
he said that she said to believe, but didnt say exactly what to believe in.
my auntie, is a bit different, she says shes never experienced anything so weird before,
she doesn't quite understand it either,
I don't think anyone does... not even priests.
hence i figured I would spend my life trying to solve it.
what was even weirder about the story, is that the same time i was sick,
the girls father had a dream about me,
in his dream, when i spoke, the girls voice came out,
it was so weird for him, that he called my mother to ask how i was,
it wasn't until years later that my uncle told my mother what happened, and that everything came out.
my uncle and auntie both said that my friend was wearing a very unique necklace, that none of them had seen before..
my uncle said he woke up and the entire wall went white and she walked into their room,
the same happened when she left..
both of them said there was a sense of peace, no fear.
my uncle said my friends eyes were wide open, as if they didnt close
both said it was weird weird weird...
every now and then, even after 30 years, my uncle mentions it and we talk about it...
and ever since this happened, i have been believing more and more...
hence you get rants hehe
