Its a climate emergency. Governments need to issue mandatory fart detection underwear using a tiny probe tucked just near the anus. This could be Bluetooth to your smartphone to keep count and measure power and methane content. If you try not wearing the federal undies longer than 1 hour then butt tracers are sent to get you. People fart a lot and nothing is being done to curb it.
