clif has long stated that we have been and are still in a war. he has stated that his explorer's guide series is a specific set of actions that he's decided to take in the context of that war. he has frequently said to not go out and win stupid prizes in the stupid games that the federalis and NGOs set up, like the 6th. even if he gets emotional at times, every move he's been making has been calculated.
we are at war. make no mistake about it. we are approaching very key points in time, and at those points action must be taken and states of being must be maintained. it's part of aikido and other martial arts like judo. it's about allowing your opponent to over extend and lose balance, at which point you put everything you got into using their power against them while maintaining your own balance.
he didn't advocate running out and doing anything stupid. he's lighting small fires in people that are to be kindled internally and to be used in the upcoming appropriate times.
i think things are progressing in a way that will ultimately make things much better, but i see things getting worse and harsh in the interim. you should know i'm not the type to cling to fear or a dark future, i've always been more of a pie in the sky utopianist. i see that utopia as being closer than ever, as long as we can wade through all the muck.
