Loving somebody at a distance has far more benefits than disadvantages.
I don't need them to love me back. They don't even have to participate at all!
That means I can love anybody, anywhere, no matter how inaccessible they are.
They aren't gonna be bothering me, pestering me when I don't want to deal with them.
They're not gonna be using my body like a fucking vampire leech when I'm not in the mood.
Love at a distance is controlled by a simple click, there's an on/off button that can be pushed at any time.
There's nothing to lose, besides time. And it's not a loss if it makes me feel good and stimulates me.
I can have my mind stimulated, which is so much more enjoyable and important than sex...
And that gives me all the pleasure I could possibly need.
