Space imagery really did just suck me in for a few years back in the early 2010s.

I became pretty obsessed with space in general.

I was particularly interested in the idea of interstellar communication.

Wanted so badly to be able to communicate with aliens, lol.

So funny to look back on those times with the deeper understanding that I have now.

It feels good not to have that longing anymore though...

I had a legitimate longing, damn near tormenting...

I just wanted to communicate with aliens so badly.

Ignorance really isn't bliss. Knowledge can bring a lot of peace, though sometimes is hard to accept at first.
