My issue with the pole is that there's not really much expansion involved with it... you can only go so far with the pole. It may be good for training, but I think the usefulness of it (physically) would tire out pretty fast, most certainly within a few months. And a new rig would be necessitated if you wanted to go further, have more opportunities, have a more expansive world open up for you in that arena... there are other dancing apparatus that have much more opportunity.
Maybe no one knows what the fuck I'm talking about when I reference cirque and dancing apparatus and whatnot, so let me go ahead and explain...
