This is an absurd comparison. Musk is not a scientist. He's not even an inventor. He's an investor. Business magnate. That doesn't mean he won't be remembered. Names like Carnegie and Rockefeller will probably be around for a little while, and Musk is already crushing their collective output, and he's pushing the envelope hard, helping to usher in a new age. Dude is YOUNG, too, in this context. Given the plans for Martian colonies, Martian mining, the Neurochip and augmented intelligence, so forth... the way these things pan out could very well immortalize his name. He might even be the first earth-born human's name to be immortalized on other planets. Musk running for US President is boring by contrast. Dude is just getting started.
