It just makes me wonder...
What are some of the things we're doing right now that people in the future will look back on and think "Wow, how did they ever live that way?"
The tech that we use will probably be as primitive as a camera from the 1800s would seem to us today.
But to us, right now, the shit is great.
The cycles and seasons are so apparent to me from watching all this material about history/the wild west tonight.
It just goes around and around and around...
The methods of doing things changes, the laws and legalities change, tech changes...
But it all repeats itself over the course of time, and at the core of it, things really are always the same.
There's no reason to get caught up in any of the bullshit trappings of current events or society...
The most important thing is to realize that we are living history in the making, and unless you make it very clear that you were here, nobody is gonna know.
They're gonna have to make up stories about you from the 5 surviving photographs and somebody's grandmother's grandmother whose childhood friend overheard stories about you from a drunk uncle.
