It hasn't even been 150 years yet and so much info/preservation of one of the most famous people in American history has already been lost...

I'm just using it as an example.

If they ain't gonna remember Jesse James to their children and grandchildren, they sure ain't gonna remember you.

Be lost to history...

Don't write a word, don't recount a memory, don't share a story...

That's how you ensure no one ever hears your name again after you die.

Is everybody as legendary as a historical wild west outlaw? Man hell no. But I don't think ANYONE should be forgotten to time. For better or worse.
