I would say clothing is the biggest concern when it comes to things like odor. Hair would also be a concern.
Keep your clothes clean, or get new ones. You can keep your body itself clean all day every day, but if your clothes are rank, it's a moot point.
That's all obvious.
What I'm really thinking about here is hair and how to keep it clean, without washing it and stripping it down with soap.
So the idea is washing with water, and in between, daily maintaining your sebum situation. With a boar bristle brush, you can basically massage the shit out of your head and as a result, it loosens up any dirt or excess natural buildup. It either gets them away from your scalp and out of your hair altogether, or it distributes them down the hair shaft.
If you brushed your hair ritualistically, once in the morning and once at night... if you took proper care in massaging away any dirt or naturally occurring sebum buildup on a daily basis, your hair would be fairly clean. If you kept your scalp free of any type of buildup, it would be healthy. There wouldn't be any stagnation that could cause problems. The key is keeping the scalp clean, stimulated, and really in a sense we're talking about exfoliation here.
I think the huge misconception is that we need a bunch of crazy soaps and shampoos to maintain a healthy scalp. I think that shit was straight up fabricated so that they could sell endless products to us. I think it's that dang simple.
