When I arrived in Asheville for the first time, I stayed a night at the Mountaineer Inn. That place was loaded with fig trees, dripping with big, fat, juicy figs.
Enough figs to feed the entire fig-eating population.
I start stuffing them figs into my mouth.
This greasy motel owner comes out and tells me to stop eating the figs.
How are you gonna have all them figs at a motel and expect your guests not to eat them?
