S4 E12 - "Grass"
Bitchin' drum roll on the opening credits now, love it.
But yeah, the strangeness is sort of highlighted by the fact that when I was downloading the entire radio show version, this episode called "Grass" really stood out to me. I dunno why, it was just one of those things. There was another episode not too far after it called "Dirt" too. I just remember thinking those were strange titles. There may be a special message in either one of these episodes. Maybe I'll point it out if I notice it, maybe I won't... depends on what it is.
Maybe due to the admittedly similar titles on the "How to Kill a Friend" and "How to Cure a Friend" episodes, there was a mixup when the box set was made. But I swear I've seen BOTH those episodes. I dunno man. I gotta stop thinking about it though... it's one of those things there ain't gonna be an answer to for a hot minute if ever. If it was a screwup, I just hope there aren't too many more of them. I want to see EVERY episode of Gunsmoke.
4:30 they didn't even get any water like they stopped for.
8:00 they obviously want his land or something.
13:30 I really think they were funnin' this Pope guy and took it too far.
20:50 one of the better death scenes I've seen on the show... some of them aren't great. It's nobody's fault, I dunno, death scenes are probably pretty hard to do. You'd probably have to practice it a lot and who the fuck wants to do that?
